Tasks

The core of the Alliance Cup are the tasks that every alliance member selects, and then completes to earn personal and alliance points. There is a wide variety of tasks, including different difficulty levels for the same task. You can select up to 6 tasks per day without spending any Gems (5 standard ones + 1 free additional task daily). Once you have completed these, you will need to spend gems in order to select additional tasks that day. At server reset, you will be allowed to pick up another 5+1 free tasks the next day.

Difficulty Levels & Points

Task difficulty is indicated by the background color of the task. Points are awarded based off the task difficulty.

  • Green (+5 points)

  • Blue (+10 points)

  • Purple (+40 points)

  • Yellow/Gold (+100 points)

Personal Tasks vs Alliance Tasks

The first two tasks are personal tasks. These tasks provide a point bonus, and are only available to you. You can refresh these tasks if you do not like the options you currently have. Refreshing a personal task takes 5 minutes, and can only be done by you.

The remainder of the tasks are Alliance Tasks. These tasks do not provide bonus points, but there are many more of them to select from. Once someone selects a task, no one else can select that task. Alliance tasks can only be refreshed by R4/R5 members of the alliance, and take 30 minutes to refresh.

Task Types

There are many different types of tasks you can pick up. Some tasks are only availble in certain difficulty levels. For instance, the Tiling tasks during RoC/Eden only come in Blue and Purple difficulties.

Task Tips

It's useful to line up your Alliance Cup Tasks with the Daily CoP theme and/or Hourly Challenge. For instance on Fridays (CoP training day), you can usually finish one or two Troop Power or Troop Speed Up tasks. You might also be able to complete an Hourly 3-Chest as well task as well. In this case you have completed 3 100 point Alliance Cup tasks without doing anything more than you would normally do on Training Day. The same general principle goes for Research Day and Building Day. Unfortunately there are no tasks specific to KE or Hero Day, but you can always pick up more Hourly Challenges on those days to make up for it!

đź’° Spender TIP:
If you're planning on purchasing any packages that include gems, always wait / refresh your tasks until you get a task for purchasing gems. It's the easiest way to get points!
+100 points tasks for purchasing 2000 gems or +40 for purchasing 1000 gems
